PURPOSE: A method and a device for preventing coal dust from being ignited in an enclosed storage are provided to reduce the concentration of coal dust by spraying water when the concentration is more than a set value.;CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing coal dust from being ignited in an enclosed storage comprises an enclosed storage(10), a dust measuring unit, a controller(500), and a spray operating unit(600). Coal(C) is loaded in the enclosed storage. The dust measuring unit is arranged inside the enclosed storage, and irradiates laser light. And the dust measuring unit collects the irradiated laser light, and changes the decrement of the laser light to an electric signal. The controller determines dust concentration based on the electric signal, and outputs a control signal. The spray operating unit accepts the control signal, and sprays water.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
