APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANAGING LINK INFORMATION OF OSPF PROTOCOL ON OVERLAY NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for managing link information of an OSPF protocol on an overlay network are provided to obtain the shortest path to the destination by using an inter-neighbor node delay time as the distances between the OSPF protocol nodes in an overlay network. CONSTITUTION: A neighbor node information management unit(112) manages the information for neighbor nodes(100b-100d), and a delay time measuring unit(114) measures a packet delay time through the transmission and reception of a packet for the neighbor nodes. A link information management unit(116) manages the link information for the neighbor nodes, and uses the packet delay time as the inter-node distance information. The distance information between the nodes is included in the link information.
