PURPOSE: A channel estimation method through an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) receiver including the channel estimator presuming channel through the distortion pilot recovery, and channel estimator and distortion pilot compensation detects the pilot who is distorted using the correlation value between the pilot. CONSTITUTION: A delay unit(710) delays an OFDM signal processed at a FFT(Fast Fourier Transform)(500) as the designated time. A pilot recovery(750) is restored to normal the distortion of the pilot extracted from the OFDM signal. By using the pilot restoring in the pilot recovery the interpolator(720) is proceed the interpolation function. By using the channel estimation value extracted about the signal outputted from the delay unit through interpolator the equalizer(730) recompenses the signal distortion.
