PURPOSE: An O-acetylated and O-methylated glucuronic acid oligosaccharide of terminal glucuronic acid residue is provided to prepare pure glucuronic acid without generation of by-product such as glucuronic acid bisaccaride or trisaccharide.;CONSTITUTION: A O-acetylated and O-methylated glucuronic acid of terminal glucoronic acid residue of formula I is prepared by culturing Gluconacetobacter hansenii PJK(deposit number KCTC 10505 BP) in beer fermentation yeast liquid at 25-35°C, ventilation speed of 0.3-1.5vvm, and pH 5.0-7.0. The beer fermentation yeast contains 4-5 volume% of ethanol, 2.7-3.1 weight% of carbohydrate, and 0.04-0.08 weight% of protein. A method for preparing the pure glucuronic acid comprises: a step of hydrolyzing O-acetylated and O-methylated glucuronic acid oligosaccharide of terminal glucuronic acid residue to obtain glucuronic acid monomer; and a step of removing the glucuronic acid residue with a column filled with adsorption resin.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
