PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to make the brightness of the liquid crystal display device uniform by varying the quantity of light according to thickness adjustment of an optical plate.;CONSTITUTION: Substrates(210,220,230,270) guide the light. A height varying unit is formed on one side of the substrate. A prism pattern(260) is formed on the height varying unit. Multiple light sources(142) are arranged on one side of an optical plate in one direction to be located below an average height from one side of the substrate to the height varying unit. The prism pattern is extended to the other direction. The other direction is perpendicular to the one direction. The average height is 0.1 - 10% of the thickness of the substrate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
