PURPOSE: An encoding method and a decoding method of a packet for reducing an overhead due to retransmission in a wireless communication are provided to reduce a bandwidth waste due to retransmission by recovering an error of a bit with high probability. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication network based on a packet is used in an environment like an IEE 802.11 standard based wireless LAN. A transmitter transmits the packet to a receiver. A receiver transmits an ACK or NACK packet according to the reception of the packet. The transmitter transmits two packets with the encoding technique which displaying the reception failure by confirming the reception failure of the packet of the receiver. The receiver stores the existing broken packet. The receiver performs a decoding process using an encoding packet.
