This invention provides a steam chamber in a resin foam molding machine, having excellent heat insulating properties and durability, and a resin foam molding machine, and a resin foam molding method. At least one of frames (5,6) for constituting steam chambers (9, 10), back plates (3, 4), and center plates (71, 81) in a resin foam molding machine is formed of foamed aluminum. Alternatively, a construction may also be adopted in which the foamed aluminum plates (51, 61) may be stacked on the frames (5, 6), or the back plates (3, 4) have a sandwich structure with interposed foamed aluminum plates (33, 43). The above constitution is advantageous in that, by virtue of a high level of heat insulating properties possessed by the foamed aluminum, wasteful use of heat energy of steam can be eliminated, and the cycle time can be shortened.;COPYRIGHT KIPO & WIPO 2010
