PURPOSE: A method of connecting a DPWS with a web service is provided to connect a DPWS with a web service based on an SOA(Service-Oriented Architecture) in a ubiquitous environment, thereby providing interoperability based on the DPWS and the web service.;CONSTITUTION: Information required for a DPWS and a web service is transmitted. A device of the DPWS and meta information of the web service are extracted through a DPWS client function. A DPWS client uses the web service through a discovery proxy function.
