PURPOSE: A method and a device for connecting video telephony in a mobile terminal to try a connection to a specific network without a kind of current network, thereby providing the service preferentially.;CONSTITUTION: A video call connector determines a kind of current network. If the network is a second generation network, the video telephony connecting device extracts cell list information(421). The video telephony connecting device tries to camp on about a neighbor cell of a specific number of network in the cell list information based on the cell list information(423).
