PURPOSE: A renormalization correcting method of an atomic power plant excore detector is provided to accurately predict a signal of an excore detector by multiplying a renormalization factor in a theoretically calculated SAF(Shape Annealing Function). CONSTITUTION: A correcting method of an excore detector in an atomic power plant executes theoretical prediction about a signal of an excore detector by using a predetermined equation. The correcting method comprises a step of multiplying a predetermined calibration factor in a SWF(Spatial Weighting Function) used for theoretically predicting a signal of the excore detector. By using the result value of the multiplication, the exact prediction about the signal of the actual excore detector is obtained. The SWF is formed by multiplying a one-dimension SAF and a two dimension SWF. The correcting method comprises a step of renormalizing the SAF by multiplying the predetermined calibration factor and the SAF. The correcting method comprises a step of multiplying the renormalization factor and theoretically calculated SAF.
