PURPOSE: A method of increasing the compatibility of an oxygen saturation measuring sensor using an optical output property is provided to guarantee the reliability of an oxygen saturation measurement by using oxygen saturation measuring sensors with the different optical output properties of different manufacturers.;CONSTITUTION: The state of a combination of a measuring sensor and a measuring module is determined. A driving current applied to a luminescent device is gradually increased(615). Optical data inputted to a light-receiving device is stored gradually(630). The properties of the measuring sensor are analyzed based on the stored optical data(660,665). The oxygen saturation measurement algorithm is corrected based on the results of the analysis(670). A process of gradually increasing the driving current comprises a step in which a first driving current applied to a first luminescent device is gradually increased and a step in which a second driving current applied to a second luminescent device is gradually increased.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
