PURPOSE: A routing method in a local wireless network and a method for assigning a network address are provided to receive an address from an access request node according to address use from an adjacent node, thereby flexibly coping with geographical arrangement of a node in network configuration.;CONSTITUTION: If there is a connection request from new node A, node 58825 checks allocatable residual addresses(S10,S11). If there are not allocatable residual addresses, the node 58825 transmits an AB_REQ(Address Borrowing request message) to an adjacent node(S13). Node 58825 selects an address to borrow from at least one AB RSP(Address Borrowing response message)(S15).
