PURPOSE: An operating device of a machine tool is provided to freely set the distance of the operating device to a workpiece group by coupling first and second hinges to both ends of a proximity link.;CONSTITUTION: An operating device of a machine tool comprises a vertical stand(110) installed on the top of a machine tool(100), a proximity link(120) which is attached by a first hinge pin and moved about the vertical stand, a temporary top-and-bottom fixing bracket which is attached by a second hinge pin and moved about the other end of the proximity link, a rotating support, a pendant arm(150), an operation panel(170), and a balance weight(160). The temporary top-and-bottom fixing bracket includes a first temporary top-and-bottom fixing unit that engages with a second temporary top-and-bottom fixing unit of the rotating support.
