PURPOSE: A resource allocation method of a multi-carrier-based power communication access network and a device thereof are provided to maximize channel capacity and transfer rate by optimizing the channel capacity of the power communication access network. CONSTITUTION: A resource allocation device receives transmission channel information from nodes(S410). The device calculates SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of sub carriers about each of links(S420). The device calculates each transmission bit number of the links(S430). The device assigns the sub carriers to the selected link(S460). If all subcarriers are allocated, the device transmits data through the allocated sub carrier(S470,S480).
