摘要

PURPOSE: A crystallization/separation method of p-xylene is provided to separate the p-xylene through a crystallization process when the concentration of the p-xylene in mixed xylene is more than 60~98 weight% and to enable a user to easily operate the method.;CONSTITUTION: A crystallization/separation method of p-xylene comprises the following steps: obtaining slurry(2) containing a p-xylene crystal by supplying mixed xylene stream(1) to a crystallization unit(I) and performing a cooling crystallization; and obtaining mother liquor(3), a cleansing solution(4), and pure p-xylene(5) by supplying the slurry to a filtration/purification unit(II). The filtration/purification unit uses the combination of a simulated transfer layer and a multiple transfer layer. The p-xylene crystallization unit is a scrapping well crystallizer or a stirring crystallizer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
