PURPOSE: A shock damper for the discharge pipe of a diaphram pump is provided to prevent shocks, vibrations, and noise from a diaphragm pump.;CONSTITUTION: A shock damper for the discharge pipe of a diaphram pump comprises a shock damper pod(80), a damping block(90), a damping elastomer(100), and a damper cap(200). The shock damper pod comprises an intake jointer(81), an discharge jointer(82), an stroke cavity(83), and a cap receptacle. The intake jointer includes a water intake channel(811). The discharge jointer comprises a water discharge channel and is arranged at the lateral wall of the shock damper pod. A female screw is installed at the cap receptacle. The damping block includes a cylinder suitable for being inserted into the stroke cavity of the shock damper pod. The damper cap comprises a central dent(201) with a male screw and is coupled to the stroke cavity of the shock damper pod. The outer diameter of the damping elastomer is smaller than the inner diameter of the concave receptacle in the damping block and the inner diameter of the central dent of the damper cap.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
