PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent device is provided to implement high definition of a VGA(Video Graphics Array) class using a shadow mask with an opening width of 45 to 55 um.;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixel regions is defined on a first substrate. A first electrode is formed on the first substrate. A buffer pattern is formed on the boundary of the pixel region by depositing and patterning the insulation materials on the first electrode. A partition(160) is formed on the buffer pattern. An organic light emitting layer(165) is formed on the first electrode using the shadow mask. The organic light emitting layer comprises red, green and blue organic light emitting patterns. A second electrode is formed on the organic light emitting layer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
