PET-MRI COMBINED SYSTEM CAPABLE OF SUCCESSIVELY OR SIMULTANEOUSLY OBTAINING A FUNCTIONAL IMAGE AND ANATOMICAL IMAGE

PURPOSE: A PET-MRI combined system is provided to obtain a combined image of a functional image and an anatomical image by detachably mounting a PET scanner on an MRI scanner.;CONSTITUTION: A PET scanner(20) is detachably mounted inside an MRI scanner(10). The PET scanner comprises a semiconductor detector. An MRI image processor(14) changes the output signal of the MRI scanner to the MRI image. A PET image processor(21) changes the output signal of the PET scanner to the PET image. A combined image processor(30) obtains the combined image of the functional information and the anatomical information using the data received from the MRI image processor and the PET image processor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
