NAME DISAMBIGUATION APPARATUS USING SOCIAL NETWORKS ON BIBLIOGRAPHIC AND METHOD OF PERFORMING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A device for making a writing name of bibliographic information clear using a social network and a method thereof are provided to search a writer name while facilitating document search and web search. CONSTITUTION: A social network building unit(104) uses bibliographic information to build the first society network. A unit(106) for detecting a person with the same name searches person information with the same name in the first society network. Another name detecting/combining unit(108) searches another name of a writer in the second society network. Another name detecting/combining unit updates the second society network to build the third society network.
