PURPOSE: A graphitizing apparatus and a graphitization method using the same are provided to graphitize carbon by extracting within an organic sample, to improve conspicuously a rate in which the carbon dioxide is graphitized, while reducing remarkably the time to be required to the reaction. CONSTITUTION: A graphitizing apparatus comprises the following: a sample combustion part(110); an elemental analyzer(100) including a combustion gas separate unit(120) which eliminates impurity generated in a sample combustion part for the first by using a gas chromatography method; a carbon dioxide collector(300) which assorts and collects only the carbon dioxide from the combustion gas passing through the elemental analyzer; a reductive reactor(400) restored in carbon dioxide collected from the carbon dioxide collector to the carbon dioxide; and a controller(500) which controls the operation of the elemental analyzer, carbon dioxide collector, and the reductive reactor.
