PURPOSE: A method and a system for tracking assets using a wireless sensor network are provided to trace a current situation of abnormal asset through past information of abnormal asset, thereby providing the current situation of abnormal asset to a user more exactly.;CONSTITUTION: An asset information receiver unit(110) receives the asset state information from each node(210~270) of a wireless sensor network(200). An assets situation estimating unit(130) estimates the current situation about an abnormal asset by the present asset state information.
