PURPOSE: A display method of a mobile telephone for the long-term memory of the shortcut number and technology thereof are provided to enable user to freely use shortcut number for a call.;CONSTITUTION: A receiver information display window is displayed while the calling bell sounds in an originating terminal when a user call to a person who number is stored in a mobile phone. A shortcut number is displayed corresponding to a receiver name in the receiver information display window. The shortcut number of a receiver is displayed as the first information on the receiver information display window. The receiver name is displayed as the second information.
