PURPOSE: A method of recovering and managing security related information for a downloadable conditional access system is provided to separately store security related information of a target server and supply a recovery key to a server safely, thereby enabling the target server to efficiently recover the security related information.;CONSTITUTION: Storing identification information and security related information are requested from a target server(310). A recovery key is transmitted to the target server to cope with loss of the security related information. If the security related information is lost, recovery for the security related information is requested from the target server. The security related information is encoded by the recovery key.
