PURPOSE: A directional sound generating apparatus and method are provided to focus sounds on a specific zone over entire frequency region using one array structure.;CONSTITUTION: An inner speaker array(720) includes at least one sound source. Edge speakers(710a, 710b) are located on both ends of the inner speaker array. The edge speakers includes sound source with directivity. The sound source of the edge speakers is high level directional sound source.
