PURPOSE: A contents play device of a portable device and a method thereof are provided to implement more tactile and sensible audio listening function by variously outputting vibration patterns.;CONSTITUTION: A storage unit stores contents including audio data, and an input unit(110) generates an input signal for reproducing the stored contents. A controller(160) confirms whether or not the vibration patterns linked to the contents are stored.
