PURPOSE: A belt drum of a tire building machine is provided to prevent air from being injected into the inner part of the tire in vulcanization by making the shape of a shoulder unit of a green tire similar to the shape of a linear profile of a vulcanized mold.;CONSTITUTION: A belt drum of a tire building machine includes a segment plate(3) having a double cylindrical piston(2) which is radially arranged on the belt drum(1). Each basic segment is expanded and contracted into the radial direction of the belt drum through the segment plate. The basic segment is formed on a round part(5) having a swollen central part. The round part is composed of a profile same as the inner shape of a shoulder unit of a green tire.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
