PURPOSE: A light emitting device package, a backlight unit, a display device, and a lighting device are provided to improve luminous efficiency by properly setting the shape and size of a groove in consideration of the shape and size of a chip.;CONSTITUTION: A package body(11) provides a chip mounting region(11a). The package body includes a first lead terminal and a second lead terminal. An LED chip(15) is mounted on the chip mounting region. The LED chip is electrically connected to the first and second lead terminals. The groove unit is formed along the LED chip on the chip mounting region.
