PURPOSE: A solar position tracing apparatus with a columnar light-focusing device is provided to accurately trace solar position without a separate apparatus using the difference between the solar energy amount of a sunlight absorptive plate which has collected sunlight and the solar energy amount of a sunlight absorptive plate which has not collected sunlight.;CONSTITUTION: A solar position tracing apparatus with a columnar light-focusing device comprises a columnar light-focusing device(10), a sun energy absorption device(11), and an energy amount measure system. The columnar light-focusing device has the shape of a rod fully filled in the longitudinal direction thereof. The columnar light-focusing device forms a focus which is separated from the rear part of the rod as far as focus distance. The sun energy absorption device comprises multiple solar energy absorptive plates. The multiple solar energy absorptive plates are placed in the columnar direction on a focus track formed on the rear side of the columnar light-focusing device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
