PURPOSE: An estimate method of stress in tunnel shotcrete lining using artificial cracks is provided to enable daily measurement during tunnel construction by simply measuring the stress value measurement of the shotcrete lining.;CONSTITUTION: An estimate method of stress in tunnel shotcrete lining using artificial cracks comprise following steps. An artificial crack(1) is formed at a measurement point inside a tunnel cross section vertically to the desired direction to measure applied stress. The width change of the artificial crack is measured by measuring the width of the artificial crack.
