NETWORK INTERWORKING METHOD BETWEEN A SET TOP BOX AND HEALTHCARE GATEWAY FOR THE FLOW INTERNET PROTOCOL ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A network interworking method is provided to supply a healthcare service through a set top box by performing hash-based mutual authentication.;CONSTITUTION: A set top box requests verification based on a set top box ID to a healthcare service server(404). The set top box receives a MAC(Medium Access Control) address of a healthcare gateway(406). The set top box performs a IP scanning to a preset port set on the same class with an allocated IP address(416). The set top box connects to a health care gateway(424).
