THE HOP-COUNT BASED WEAK-NAVIGATION METHOD AND SYSTEM IN MOBILE ADHOC NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A hop count base similarity process for navigation method in a mobile ad-hoc network is provided to reduce a time for finding mobile node corresponding to the destination. CONSTITUTION: A target node transmits an update message to one or more neighbor nodes(501). Neighbor nodes update a routing table entry(502). Neighbor nodes transmit an updated routing table entry to a search node(503). The search node presumes the distance variation from the search node to the target node with the usage of an average hop count about the target node on a routing table entry(504).
