PURPOSE: An analysis model design method for superconducting fault current limiter of the half-wave non-current type is provided to accurately evaluate the influence on the system of the fault current limiter by accurately simulating the actual operation of the superconducting fault current limiter. CONSTITUTION: An electrical circuit is composed by using PSCAD/EMTDC and includes a superconducting element(S100), a high speed switch module(S200), and a fault current restriction(S300). The fault current is approved by system malfunction. The superconducting element of the electrical circuit senses the fault current and controls the high speed switch module. The current is approved to the fault current restriction.
