METHOD FOR REDUCING AND PREVENTING WELDING DISTORTION IN WELDING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method for reducing and preventing welding deformation is provided to omit a post process due to welding deformation by preventing welding deformation through an inverse deformation pre-process. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing and preventing welding deformation comprises following steps. A welding object with a groove is prepared. When an object is welded, welding heat input is applied on the groove and temperature hysteresis is calculated on the groove through 3D conduction interpretation. After the displacement of the object is calculated, the stress is calculated using the obtained displacement. The ratio of equivalent stress and the yield stress of the material is calculated on total temperature section.
