AUTO CORRELATION CALCULATOR AND AUTO CORRELATION CALCULATING METHOD FOR CARRIER FREQUENCY OFFSET ESTIMATION IN MIMO-OFDM BASED WLAN SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An autocorrelation calculator and an autocorrelation calculating method are provided to reduce the number of a delay register by using a part of received training symbols as a sample signal. CONSTITUTION: Multiple signal delay units(100) output a sample delay signal by delaying sample signals of received training symbols from multiple receiving antennas. A time multiplexing unit(200) partitions multiple sample signals and sample delay signals at different time intervals according to each receiving-antenna. An autocorrelation unit performs autocorrelation between the sample signal and the sample delay signal according to the receiving antenna which are outputted from the time multiplexing unit.
