PURPOSE: An electrostatic precipitator for an air conditioner is provided to prevent a neglect accident capable of occurring by a fan rotating at a high speed by forming a safe guard covering an inlet on the side of a case.;CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic precipitator for an air conditioner comprises a case(110), an electrostatic precipitation filter(120), a fixing unit(130) and a safe guard(140). The case is combined to the edge of the inlet of a blowing unit and a mounting piece(112) is formed on the inner side of the case. The electrostatic precipitation filter is mounted on the mounting piece of the case. The fixing unit fixes the electrostatic precipitation filter mounted on the mounting piece. The safe guard is formed integrally with the side of the case and covers a part which is not covered with the electrostatic precipitator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
