PURPOSE: A continuous casting device and a method, which controls non-metallic inclusion at the interface of molten steel and nozzle, are provided to reduce the replacement frequency of nozzle by removing non-metallic inclusion at the interface of the molten steel and a nozzle.;CONSTITUTION: A continuous casting device comprises a tundish(100) and a nozzle(10). The tundish comprises a molten steel outlet(110). Refractory is formed in the inner wall of tundish. The nozzle is connected to the molten steel outlet. An electrode(11) is formed in the outer circumference of nozzle. A conductive material layer(21) is formed inside refractory. Electrode and conductive material layer are electrically connected to a pulse-like power applying part(30). One side of the conductive material layer exposes towards the molten steel outlet. The oxygen ion is expanded through nozzle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
