PURPOSE: Hoisting assembly for the segment of a continuous casting facility is provided to enable an operation to be more rapidly performed by providing hoisting assembly which is globally used for a variety of sizes of segments. CONSTITUTION: Hoisting assembly for the segment of a continuous casting facility comprises a clap frame(1), a shaft frame(2), a guide rail, a hook arm(4), a lifting box, a hook(6), and sieves(7). The clap frame is fixed to the body of the hoisting assembly. The shaft frame is installed on the clap frame. An inner shaft(2a) is formed on both ends of the shaft frame. The upper end of the guide rail is fixed to the end of the inner shaft and is vertically installed. The hook arm is supported by the guide rail. The sliding bar(5a) connected to the hook arm is inserted into both ends of the lifting box to be able to disappear. The hook is hinge-connected to the lower end of the hook arm. The sieves are installed on both sides of the top of the lifting box.
