PURPOSE: A vice structure and a machining reference point determination method for a key machining device by NC(Numerical Control) method are provided to minimize a machining error without an operation error or tolerance of a material by setting accurate reference machining points base on the width of the material.;CONSTITUTION: An automatic key machining device operated with a microprocessor and an NC program comprises a vice for clamping a material. A fixed protrusion(103) of the vice on one side is fixed to a vice transport unit(101) while a movable protrusion(104) on the other clamps a material by horizontally moving on the fixing protrusion. When the vice transport unit is carried toward the movable protrusion, a protrusion sensing device(109) detects the movable protrusion in the specific location.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
