PURPOSE: A control system of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to measure the surface temperatures of left and right faces of a passenger and then to control the inner temperature of a vehicle by estimating the variation of solar radiation amount or solar radiation direction with the measurement result.;CONSTITUTION: A control system of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a controller(100), and an infrared sensor(200). The controller controls the inner temperature of a vehicle by controlling the air conditioner. The infrared sensor is connected to the controller and senses the surface temperatures of the right and left faces of a passenger. The inner temperature of the vehicle is controlled by sensing the difference between the left solar radiation load and the right solar radiation load from the surface temperatures measured by the infrared sensor. After calculating an average temperature from the surface temperatures, the variation of the average temperature is calculated and the inner temperature of the vehicle is controlled depending on the variation of the average temperature.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
