PURPOSE: A carrier for developing an electrostatic and an electrostatic image developer including the same are provided to prevent the carrier from being scatter and to prevent a blank area on the rear end of the image at a high temperature and high humidity.;CONSTITUTION: A carrier for developing an electrostatic includes a ferrite particle and a resin layer coating the ferrite particle. The content of magnesium of the ferrite particle is 3.0 weight%-10.0 weight%. The content of the manganese is 0.2 weight%-1.0 weight%. The resin layer contains a resin which is selected from a (meta)acrylic resin, a styrene-(meta)acrylic resin, a polyester resin, and a silicone resin.
