PURPOSE: A combustion control method for a regenerative-combustion heating furnace is provided to guide combustion air temporarily provided to a regenerative burner to an exhaust gas discharge pipe, thereby completely discharging exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative-combustion heating furnace(10) has at least a pair of regenerative burners(20). The regenerative burner has a burner part(21) including a fuel injection nozzle and a heat storage chamber(22) receiving heat storage materials. A combustion control method for the regenerative-combustion heating furnace is as follows. When the combustion and heat storage of the regenerative burners are suspended, the regenerative burners guide exhaust gas into the heat storage chamber to store/discharge the heat of the exhaust gas into/from the heat storage material and air for combustion is temporally provided to the regenerative burners.
