PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a magnesium hydroxide and a magnesium oxide, using ferronickel slag is provided to use the waste ferronickel slag for obtaining the high purity magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a magnesium hydroxide and a magnesium oxide, using ferronickel slag comprises the following steps: dry-crushing the ferronickel slag using a vortex mill; activating the ferronickel slag using a centrifugal vibration mill or a planetary mill; removing an insoluble component after dissolving with hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid; and producing the magnesium hydroxide and the magnesium oxide form a leachate.
