摘要

PURPOSE: A red nitride phosphor is provided to have high optical efficiency which is suitable for blue excitation light and UV excitation light, to obtain a while light source having excellent thermal stability and chemical stability, and to be used for manufacturing a white light emitting diode.;CONSTITUTION: A red nitride phosphor is marked by chemical formula 1 of Ba_(2-x)Re_xAl_ySi_(5-y)N_8. The red nitride phosphor is activated by rare earth elements and has an excitation wavelength of 300-550 nm and an emission wavelength of 520-700 nm. In chemical formula 1, conditions of 0 x = 0.6 and 0 y = 5 are satisfied. Re is one or more rare earth elements or transition metal atoms which are selected from a group comprising Ce, Pr, Eu, Tb, Yb, Er, or Mn.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
