PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a dual touch screen and a method for displaying a user interface thereof are provided to enable a user to accurately touch a desirable region by providing an optimal UI(User Interface) to the user according to a touch event.;CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) a display unit(115) and detects a touch event through first and second touch sensors(113,117) attached to both side of the display unit. The display unit displays a UI(User Interface) including background and contents and includes both sides. If the touch event is detected through the first touch sensor, a control unit(120) changes brightness of the UI as much as a high fixed level. If the touch event is detected through the second touch sensor, the control unit lowly changes the brightness of the UI as much as a low fixed level.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
