PURPOSE: An active type RFID system for port logistics having multi-hop communication capable of improving recognition rate of a tag when collecting tag information with a reader and a communication method thereof are provided to perform communication between multi-hop communication thereby solving shadow area problem without separate facility cost.;CONSTITUTION: A command receiver(210) receives P2P instruction or broadcast instruction. An instruction delivery unit(230) retransmits the P2P instruction or the broadcast instruction to another tag. An instruction reconfiguring unit(250) reconstructs the broadcast instruction and provides the reconstructed instruction. If the broadcast instruction is an instruction transmitted from other tag, a response message reconfiguring unit(260) reconstructs a response message adding ID of tag.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
