PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an aromatic carbonate compound is provided to minimize the generation of by-products during a reaction process, and to improve the yield and the selectivity of the compound.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an aromatic carbonate compound comprises the following steps: reacting at least one carbonate compound selected from the group consisting of compounds marked with chemical formula 1: (R_1O)CO(OR_2), with an aromatic hydroxyl compound marked with chemical formula 2: R3OH under the presence of a catalyst containing an ammonium molybdate compound; and obtaining an aromatic carbonate compound.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
