PURPOSE: An online protection system and a method thereof are provided to effectively prohibit words used in slander through a proxy server and by changing prohibited words with replacement words.;CONSTITUTION: A terminal performs data communication. A portal server(700) performs data communication with the terminal. A slander prohibiting service server(500) connects the portal server subscribed to a service with a data communication session. If data received from the terminal corresponds to slander about a specific person, the slander prohibiting service server transmits a message to the terminal.
