PURPOSE: An apparatus for irradiating light, having a polarization function, is provided to enable the polarization of light without the loss of energy by providing single directionality to light passing through an optical pipe.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for irradiating light includes a light tube array comprising a plurality of fine light tubes(122a) on the same route as the light in an optical pipe(120). The optical pipe includes a first optical pipe(121) and a second optical pipe(122) which are arranged along the route in which light is irradiated. The first optical pipe or the second optical pipe is comprised of the light tube array. The fine light tubes are combined with each other.
