STRAIN HAVING DECOMPOSITION ABILITY OF DIESEL ISOLATED FROM OIL-CONTAMINATED SOIL

PURPOSE: A strain which biologically decomposes diesel is provided to remove diesel form contaminated soil and to ensure decomposition ability.;CONSTITUTION: A Pseudomonas aeruginosa TPH1(KACC 91384P) has diesel decomposition ability. The Pseudomonas aeruginosa TPH1(KACC 91384P) is isolated from contaminated soil. A method for isolating the strain comprises: a step of culturing collected soil in LB medium containing yeast; a step of inoculating 1% of the strain in MSM medium containing 1% of diesel; and performing sub-culturing three times or more; a step of smearing the stain on LB solid medium and separating single colony; a step of inoculating the single colony to MSM medium; and a step of isolating Pseudomonas aeruginosa TPH1.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
