PURPOSE: A method for calculating the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck and a method for calculating soil volume conversion factor are provided to calculate the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck using laser scanning and to calculate soil volume conversion factor.;CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck comprises following steps. The access of a dump truck is sensed(S10). An identifying/reading device recognizes and reads identification tag installed in a dump truck to transmit read signals to the computer(S30). The form of the soil loaded in the dump truck is scanned from various directions using multiple laser scanners(S20).
